Uptime Guarantee
Unlike many web hosting companies we back up our service committment with a 99.9% uptime
guarantee. This guarantee basically says that if your web or mail site is not functional
99.9% of the week, that we will refund your money for that week. Below are the details in
our Service Level Commitment.

- ChamberGates commits to 99.9% Uptime. If, during a given calendar month (12:00 AM GMT Sunday
through 11:59 PM GMT Saturday), ChamberGates does not meet this commitment (Downtime exceeds 0.1%
or approximately 11 minutes), ChamberGates will issue the Customer a credit for the recurring charge
for that week based on the rate paid initially by Customer. Credits to be given in any month under
this Service Level Commitment shall not in the aggregate exceed the monthly service charge paid by
Customer.
- "Customer" is defined as the purchaser of the service or product provided by ChamberGates. To
be eligible for any applicable credit as outlined above, Customer must be current in regards to
payments for services at the time of such outage.
- "Downtime" is defined below based on the product or service that Customer purchased:
- Colocation - shall mean the period of time that the connection between
the hardware provided by Customer and the Internet is interrupted. Downtime will also
include any power outages that affects the Customer's equipment.
- Dedicated Servers - shall mean the period of time that the connection between
the hardware provided by ChamberGates and the Internet is interrupted. Downtime will also
include any power outages that affects the hardware provided to the Customer.
- Web Hosting - shall mean the period of time that the web server has ceased to
deliver web content for Customer's web site excluding periods that were caused directly or
indirectly by Customer's web site content.
- Email Services - shall mean the period of time that mail server stops accepting
email or delivering email for a Customer's domain. Web Messaging is not covered by this
guarantee.
- Domain Pointing - shall mean the period of time that all name servers stop
resolving host names for the Customer's domain.
- Downtime shall exclude interruptions of service resulting from:
- scheduled ChamberGates system maintenance, which normally is scheduled as needed
on Tuesday and/or Saturday between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. CST;
- failure of Customer's applications, equipment, or facilities;
- acts or omissions of Customer;
- acts or omissions of the GSP, the transport provider or any other third party;
- the occurrence of a Force Majeure events; or
- the occurrence of a Legal or Regulatory event.
- Customer must notify ChamberGates of Downtime within forty-eight (48) hours of such Downtime in
order to be eligible for any applicable credit as outlined above.
